Course Description
Do you feel like the stage is where you belong? Talent might turn you some heads, but it takes a lot more skill to be a true thespian with a long-lasting career in musical theatre.
Take a journey with the “King” and “First Lady” of Philippine musical theater, who together have starred in, directed, and produced over two hundred Broadway and original Filipino musicals. Find out how they landed their first breakout roles and how they’ve stayed on top of their craft decades later.
Along the way, you will get first-hand information on the basics that every theater actor should know and practice. Learn the basic rudiments of acting, singing and performing in a musical, preparing like a pro for auditions, and the fundamental difference between acting in a film and acting on stage.
