Production Manager / Filmmaker

Learn from the sought after Producer/Writer/Director Jag Garcia. Jag Garcia has began professional media work during his sophomore year in college and has since spent 30 years in various fields of the media industry. Has been teaching with the De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde for 20 years where he was, among other things, the Founder and former Chairperson of the Digital Filmmaking Program.

Aside from teaching Film Production, History, and Marketing courses, he was a Technology Coach at Benilde’s Educational Technology Office.

He is the former Vice Head of the National Committee on Cinema of the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) and since 2011 has been collaborating with the NCCA and the Department of Education towards the development of TESDA Training Regulations in Video and Film Production, and Curriculum Guides for the Special Program for the Arts and Senior High School Arts and Design Track. This practical course is designed to give budding production managers a head start to launch a career in film or TV production.
